Be Still
Led by Dawn Smith on Wednesday morning
Are you new to the faith and have no idea what to do to grow spiritually? Are you a seasoned believer but feel like you’re going through the motions and not seeing any transformation? In this study we will practice a variety of spiritual disciplines, particularly those we desperately need in our activity-driven, noisy lives (meditation, journaling, silence and solitude, abstinence, etc.). We will also try a variety of approaches to prayer and bible study to discover what is most meaningful for each individual so that one’s devotional life is life-changing and not just a “spiritual activity”. The daily exercises take 15-30 minutes and do not require a lot of bible knowledge.

1 & 2 Peter with the John McArthur Study Guide
Led by Patty Evans on Wednesday morning
John MacArthur takes readers on a journey through biblical texts to discover what lies beneath the surface, focusing on meaning and context, and then reflecting on the explored passage or concept. With probing questions that guide the reader toward application, as well as ample space for journaling.

Sweeter than Honey, a Chronological Bible Study
Led by Karen Melles and Chris Brock on Wednesday mornings
In Psalm 119, the psalmist wrote: “Oh, how I love your law! I meditate on it all day long” and “How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!” During the spring, we are going to read God’s Word every day and then meet each Wednesday to discuss what we have read. We will encourage each other in our Christian walk, support each other in prayer and begin to love God’s Word. So that we, with the Psalmist, can say, “Your Words are sweeter than honey to my mouth.”

One on Onewith God byJerry and Marilyn Fine
Led by Jennifer Howard on Wednesday mornings
This book will help you develop a progressive, deep and intimate fellowship with God by embracing the Person of Christ. You will discover the importance of a Christ-centered lifestyle of walking daily in intimate fellowship with Him and at the same time gain a tool for making disciples and producing disciple-makers.
*Please note this study is limited to the first five participants that sign up due to size restrictions.

Evening Study #1: Unveiling Mary Magdalene by Liz Curtis Higgs
Led by Phylis Trautmann - This study is at 7:00pm on Wednesday evenings.
The veil has been lifted.
Discover the Gospel truth about the most myth-understood woman of the New Testament. Was Mary Magdalene a prostitute? An adulteress? The wife of Jesus? An ancient goddess? Liz Curtis Higgs, best-selling author of Bad Girls of the Bible and Really Bad Girls of the Bible, combines heartfelt contemporary fiction with extensive biblical research to bring to life the real Mary Magdalene of the Bible.
With her own eyes, she saw him.
With her own ears, she heard him.
With her own hands, she touched him.
Unveiling Mary Magdalene opens with the fictional journey of Mary Margaret Delaney, a madwoman adrift in modern Chicago. Her moving story, closely paralleling the biblical account, is followed by a verse-by-verse study of the first-century Mary Magdalene and her life-changing encounters with the Christ.

Evening Study #2:  Sweeter than Honey
Led by Trish McCarthy - This study is at 7:00pm on Wednesday evenings.
